 Postings
2-13-06 First update of the new year. I ain't got shit to say. We're looking into buying a van for the East or West Coast 1 month tour in July. Anyone got any bright ideas? .................. Daniel M.
11-22-05 Wow these updates are getting farther and farther apart. Ok here's some news for ya. I played an acoustic set at Meca without the band. To make a long story short we got screwed by a charity organization because they were pleased by our(my) performance. Then we played @ Katy Mills Mall and got screwed there too. Our set was cut shorter than every other band's there, but we still played the best we could (despite being completly ignored by the stage crew). We played our Acoustic set @ the White Swan a week later and it came out pretty well. I was a little uptight about it. All the bands did a superb job. The Show with Nihilism felt a little wierd but we got into it. Kinda late though. There are pics of all our recent and old shows so please check those out. Well we're going to start working on new music for the next month. Hopefully it doesn't tak us 6 months to poop out 1 song again. Well for going to the shows and visiting the site, please sign the guestbook. ........................... Daniel M. aka NARC
10-20-05 Hehe yeah It's been a long ass time since I've updated but here I am again. We've had to cancel a few shows because of Hurricane Rita and other reasons. We finally have the new song finished. We haven't got a name for it yet but we will soon. If you've got any ideas we're open to it, just email us. later....... Daniel M.
9-05-05 Thispast weekend was pretty damn awesome. Four shows in 3 days bitches DAMN!!! We played one last minute show Saturday morning @ The Fatty Fest in Dallas. All the shows were awesome!! It felt like we were actually touring I loved it!!! A small taste though. We've more coming up so be ready. (as if you're actually going to show up)........ Daniel M.
8-19-05 Wow it's been a long time since I've updated. We've had to shows already. The Winnie show was awesome except that I was uber sick. I passed out after our performance. The show @ Southmore House could have gone better, my amp was sounding to well. Well we've got others coming up so be there or whateva. Peace!!!!.....Daniel M.
7-4-05 Happy Forth of July everyone!!!! Here's the update for all you peope who actually read the crap I post. The FatCats show went really well. It was so much fun. Pariah was freekin badass. As of now Tony is working on a music video for Requiem of St. Jude so be on the lookout for that. The Show in Mission Tx was a complete disaster. So many things went wrong I don't even know where to begin, it's not even funny...... Oh but Jebuz looks like a retard when he plays crackhead speed, that's hilarious! We've live footage of that; it might make the cut. W've no shows for the month of July because it's that time of the month again...... for The One. He has to go work for the man. Army training but when he gets back we'll have new music ready and new shows booked. So don't despair for the month.........Daniel M.
6-23-05 News: We had to cancel and postpone a bunch of shows because of over booking. So our next show is the 29th @ FatCat's. We also recieved our stickers in the mail so as of now we will have stickers @ all the shows. We are now remixing and remastering our recently recorded songs and will hopefully be passing those out at Warped Tour. That's about it for now. Hope you can come support us @ Fat Cat's and or any other future show................Daniel M.
6-10-05 Yeah The White Swan show was pretty badass. We ended up playing a shorter set because we wanted more people to Stay for the closer, Justin Bailey. They were freegin awesome. We canceled the show @ San Antonio because Tony couldn't get that day off. We're off for the next 2 weeks so hopefully we'll have some new shit coming out soon......Daniel M.
6-4-05 The Southmore House show was pretty cool. I liked the atmosphere a lot. We'll definitely be playing another show there in the near future. We've got a show @ The White Swan coming up and the next night we'll be in San Antonio @ Patsy's Ice House. Wish us luck as we venture into San Antonio once again and let's hope we can leave without a run in with the authorities...... ........Later Daniel M.
05-29-05 We played @ Wired Java Saturday night and I'd have to say it was not one of our better performances. It could have been worse. The people could have been listening to us fuck up! Just kidding though, but it was a tough crowd and needless to say I felt a little crappy afterwards. Hopefully the next time we come a little more prepared.......... Daniel M.
05-22-05 Well the shows from Thursday - Saturday was interesting. We played a kick ass show @ The White Swan w/ Release the Controls, The Paperdolls, Oscuridad Social and Charlatan, all putting on awesome sets. The Underground, however, was a different story. We played like shit and there were only a few people there. Of fBeat played and brought in a few people and they seemed to like us. We played Taking Back Sunday covers for the sound check. Puddles friend Jack let us crash out @ his house. He's one the coolest guys ever and we owe him big time. We went on to play an ok show to an ok crowd @ The Downtown Riot. The Y Equals and Prepare to Defend it kicked ass as did Fuck the Mainstream. All in all it was a learning experience. We've got some more shows coming up this weekend so try to make it out if you can.............. thanx later............... Daniel M
05-18-05 Sunday night show was fun. Los Descocidos and Oscuridad Social put on a kickass show. Yeah we hung out with Offbeat and some fucker stole Jose's amp from his car. Well find that fucker and well cut him. We'll cut him so bad oooo he's gonna wish we ever cut him. Anyway we got 3 back 2 back shows coming up so pray for us on our road trip that we get there and back safely. Thanx later............ Daniel M.
05-04-05 Well its 1:17 in the morning and i should be doing homework but i am lazy and this is more fun. I am listening to Taking Back Sunday (a live video) pretty cool I must say. Well whats new is that we don't really have any shows coming up but we are getting stickers in the mail real soon thats pretty badass. Also to everyone i got a really intresting phone call from Jennifer this is what was said Jenn: what are you doing Tony: nothing want to comeover Jenn: yeah ................. that is a true story everyone come out to our may 19th, show it is going to be amaznig ..................laters Tony p.s I love Daniel very much just so everyone knows and Jebuz I am kicking you out the band bitch
04-24-05 The shows @ The Coffee Retreat and Java Jazz were pretty much the same. We started off playing to the sound guy and after a couple of songs about 4 people showed up. (and to the 3 people who left @ Java Jazz, you guys suck) After awhile the soundguy left as well. All in all it was fun. It was our first time @ Java Jazz and the streets were blocked of but it's ok. I gotta go I'll update the rest of the sit tomorrow.......... Daniel M.
04-19-05 Sorry but the show @ the Sidecar Pub was canceled at the last minute......Daniel M.
04-10-05 We played awesome shows out of town this weekend @ Corpus Christi and Alice Tx. Some of our best performances ever, I'd have to say. The crowd @ The Underground wasn't feeling us but it was cool still. Downtown Riot was fun. Cool people, cool bands, blah blah blah, blH BLha. We had fun and hopefully we'll play there again soon. We've been running short on merch so we haven't been selling them @ shows lately but we've got pins for $0.50 so if you want one just ask us for one whenever you see us. Hope to see you at an upcoming show. Please sign the guestbook. Thanx. Later ...................Daniel M.
04-02-05 Update: Well we played at Walter's on Washington but we got our set cut in half because someone booked one too many bands. We were pretty pissed because we only played 15 minutes; but what can you do? The Coffee Retreat show was pretty badass. We met a lot of cool people at both shows. We want to say thanks to the people we met @ the Coffee Retreat who stuck around and listened and anyone who's taken the time to at least visit the site or talk to us or anything of that nature. About our demos, we're going to have some better ones out soon so I guess look around. Please sign our guestbook sign our guest book if you get the chance. Thanks and hope to see you at another show. Later. .................Daniel M.
03-30-05 The HCC International Fest was fun. We felt strangely out of place but we still "broughted it!" We've got a few more shows coming up so last minute ones as well.so stick around......Later
03-28-05 We played 2 dates at The White Swan. This past Friday was a last minute fill in for a band that had dropped out. Both shows were fun. We didn't have too many problems but we forgot our demos and pins. We're still not finished with our recording wut we will be soon. We also need to pick out a sticker design, so if anyone has any ideas, email one of us and let us know. Or post something in the guest book. Thanks.......Later......... Daniel M.
03-17-05 Well this has been both a busy and crazy week. First we played Saturday night @ Fuel Cyber Cafe. Needless to say we were enjoyed by all 3 people including the 2 sound guys. We were a little jet lagged for some strange reason. We just couldn't feel it I guess. I wanted to get 2 corndogs with my free item and drink stamps but apparently I couldn't. 1 item, 1 drink. The San Antonio show @ The White Rabbit was cool. Su Don Tero was pretty awesome and I'm going to add them to my Myspace friends list. On the down side we got a parking ticket in less than an a hour of our arrival. I got a ticket for carring an knife, and then that bitch took it away. Something about a stupid State Violation that no one knew about. I'd say it was worth it though. We met some cool people and hopefully we'll stop by again soon see them. We've got pics from the show so go check them out................ Daniel M.
02-27-05 The Corpus show @ The Underground was pretty awesome. We met some cool bands and some cool people. We will be playing there again some time soon hopefully. The Fat Cat's show for Women's Rights was cool too. There some cool bands there as well. We've got some more shows coming up and we'll be opening up for The Independents at the end of March. We've also got some new music coming up and during Spring Break we'll be rerecording all our old songs as well as our new ones. We're also trying to playin the Ernie Ball Battle of the bands. Here is site so you can go vote for us to play http://battle.ernieball.com/battlebak/bb9/bands/shortcomings/. Thanx to everyone who supported us and those who even stayed to watch and talk to us.......... Daniel M.
01-30-05 Thursday and Friday's shows went pretty well. I don't know if you noticed but we dropped Halloween and Cheers Theme. We felt it was time to move on, and make more of our own music. We'll still keep 99 Red Ballons for awhile though. We don't have any shows for a few weeks now but our next on is in Corpus so wish us luck as we prepare for that trip. there are new pics in in the gallery and we also have demos and pins. So go to the shows and pic some up. Later .........................Daniel M.
01-24-05 We're slowly picking things up in this new year. The Engine Room show was cancelled. Sorry for the delayed update. We played at Meadow Creek Bowling alley in Pasadena on Friday and then we took off later that night to play @ The Old Quarter Acoustic Cafe in Galveston. Both Shows were pretty cool. We had a little trougble finding the place and then Jebuz locked his keys in the car when we got there. He had to use somone elses drumset. We met a cool band from Austin, Tx called The Sweethearts and there was a painted portrait that looked like me. But all in all it was a night to remember. We've got pins for sale for fifty cent and we're going to do a small Spring break tour around Texas we'll update you as soon as we can. Thanx for checking out the site and be sure to sign our guestbook.................... Daniel M.
01-07-05 Well guys our first show of the new year did not go as planned. And it showed how rusty we were from not playing shows in over a month. To begin the mics kept fucking up on us. Not only that but each one of us fucked up in our own way. So no one can point fingers at anybody we as a whole messed up. But hear this another show like that you will never see, we are better than that and we will show it at our next show. We also want to thank all the bands that came out and played with us Magdalena, , and a fourth band that I didnt quite catch their name but they still rocked. Our next show is Wednesday at the Engine Room, hope to see y'all out there. Thanx for the continuing support, signing off this is ...................................Jebuz
01-01-05 Happy New Years everyone! I hope it was good for everyone. No pun intended. Just a little update coming your way. We have a New Years Resolution. We are going to play at least 70 shows before the end of the year. So anyone who can help us out, please do. Thank you everyone who helped support us over this past year. You have made this one of the best experiences for us. Thanx to Oscuridad Social, Magdalena, and any other bands that have helped us out in the past. And thanx to those who listen to and love the music because that is what truly matters............Thanx and later...................... Daniel M.
12-16-04 Sorry it took me so long to post an update. The White Swan show did not go very well for us. The sound went off a couple of times and instead of playing third, we played first. It was ok though. It wasn't a disaster for us like The East End Fest for anyone who remembers how shitty we played then. The show in Alice @ The Downtown Riot went pretty well though. There were't that many people due to Manson playing in Corpus that same night, but the people who di show were awesome. We tip our hats to you Punk Rock Kenny and everyone else who had fun at the show that night. Also for everyone who heard our new song those 2 nights, it came out really crappy so we changed Blood Vows and made it sound a million times better. So look out for that. We don't have anymore shows booked for the month of December so we'll be working on some new music. We have some shows booked in January but I'll post those whenever I can. Until then just relax and stay cool and green.............. peppinos...................... later Daniel M.
12-05-04 Clevland's show was awesome. We met abunch of cool people and played pretty well. Carl Fendley was pretty cool guy. We had lots of fun and hope to do it again there some time. Our next show is @ The White Swan and the next day we're taking off to Alice, Tx. to play at The Downtown Riot. Wish us luck. Hope to see everone @ future shows soon. Later.............. Daniel M.
11-28-04 Alright, alright. Fridays show went pretty well. We had fun, I got to break a pinata, and we gave out all our demos. Which, by the way, have four new tracks added. Our next show is the 4th in Cleveland, Texas. Ummmm................ I guess that's all for now. later Daniel M.
11-21-04 Good news!!! Good news!!! The One is back from the army! And also our four new songs have been mastered and are ready to be heard! As of now we only have 2 of them on myspace.com and our 2 old ones as well. we'll add them to purevolume as soon as possible. Now all the CD's we pass out will be 8 songs insted of 4. So stop by the White Swan this Friday and pick up one of our EP's. Later.................. Daniel M.
11-11-04 Sorry to say that the show at Java Jazz and The Dive were both cancelled. Our next show will be at the White Swan on Nov. 26th. The One will hopefully be back by then so we'll be able to rock out with our cocks out once again. I'd like to let all you cool green peppinos know that we've got some new music coming up. We're just waiting on Useless Production's Engineer to finish mastering it. Check everyone later.......... Daniel M.
11-07-04 Well another month has passed by and we are getting closer and closer to the holiday seasons hopefully everyone is having a great time. The One is still away he will be back soon hopefully. We are almost done with recording we should have it done by the end of the week I tony just have to lay back up vocals and then it will be mastered. its been a while since we praticed we should some new songs for all you cool green pepinos thanks for that night albert he knows what i mean and i love you to baby i cant wait to hold you again..................laters Tony
10-27-04 Listen up everyone, I've some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that the Army sent The One away to California for a month and he might become active after his return. So we've canceled our Corpus and Alice shows. And the Kenny J's Coffee House show has also been cancelled because they don't let bands play there anymore. And the good news is that I just saved a ton of money on my car insurance. (Just kidding.) The good news is that we'll be playing at the HCC Hell-o-ween fest and we'll also be playing at Fernando's Halloween Costume party. The cover charge is $5 and they're raffling off Slayer tickets. They're also having a costume contest so be sure to make it to that Saturday at noon. ............... later Daniel M.
